Alvin and the Chipmunks: A Fun Flick

The fourth installment of the series is finally here. And it is indeed the time to rejoice for the fans because part four looks even better. Alvin voiced by Justin Long, Simon by Matthew Gray Gubler and Theodore by Jesse McCartney, are going on a road trip this time around.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip has been written by Randi Mayem Singer and directed by Walt Becker. If you see the trailer of Alvin and the Chipmunks, the road trip looks like an exciting ride. But what has truly been exciting is their journey from the late-1950s. The Chipmunks were born with the hit Chipmunks Song – Christmas Don’t Be Late. The high-pitched, adorable rodents were soon, a massive hit with the fans. Their success was followed up with a television series and a number of albums. The first time the series went on air in 1961-62 as The Alvin Show. The original trio looks very different from the ones we are used to now, but they were equally adorable. The TV series was aired again from 1983 to 1990 and it was then that the world was introduced to the three Chipettes.

The man behind Alvin, Theodore and Simon, was Ross Bagdasarian Sr. The Chipmunks went through a low phase in the 60s, but were revived in 1980s by Ross Bagdasarian Sr’s son. Since then, the cute trio has appeared in cartoons, alums and English movies. Their Alvin and the Chipmunks series has been received with arms wide open. The first installment was released in 2007 and went on to make $361 million at the Box Office (worldwide). The next two sequels were Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel in 2009 and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked in 2011.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip looks incredibly fun. This time, the movie starts with the trio meeting Dave’s girlfriend, Samantha and her son, Miles. While the trio likes her, they do not get along with Miles. But on discovering that Dave and Samantha may get hitched, the Chipmunks join forces with Miles to break off the relationship. They set out on a crazy road trip together and the exciting road trip begins. They are joined in a scene by the three Chipettes- Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor. The trailer is filled with such moments that’ll convince you to go and watch this adorable English movie. The Chipmunks are seen singing Uptown Funk and it is completely engaging and winsome. This one is a definite winner and we’re gearing up for this exciting ride.
